excuses

it seems that we can also find reasons why we can not do something, or why it’s someone else problem. i can’t help out with this because i work to much. oh i missed because i was out to late last night. i don’t like the way that person does that so there is no way that i can be a part of that. excuses! we all have them and they all stink. what is Jesus had excuses. sorry man i have this dinner that i have to go to so you daughter wont live. i have to go fishing to make some money so mass crowds you go hungry. i have a prior commitment so world you will have to find someone else to be your savior. man i’m glad Jesus isn’t like me. now i’m not saying things don’t come up or happen. but so often there are things that i can give up and put up with to do the work of God. i need to do that way more often.

Man Up!

what gets in our way the most in doing the work of God is us. we trip up our self and hold our own self back from doing God’s work. i say so often well satan tripped me up, or can cant do that because someone or something else. but you know it’s not someone or something else. i have to man up, step up, and start doing the work that God has called me to do without excuses!

Being Used

we always think of being used as being walked on, pushed around, and pushed down. but being used isn’t always bad! paul told the Church at corinth that we have this great treasure in earthen vessels and no matter how crapy we think life is He still wants us to carry on, because things could be so much worse. i feel that lately i’ve let the little things hold me back from carrying this treasure and not displaying the life of Jesus in my life in my body. i’ve got to step up it’s not that bad. i’ve got to let God use me!
